My New 6mmBRX Rig

My 2016 Competition Rig
BAT B action
BRUX barrel 8:1, 6mmBRX chambered by Ryan Pierce of Piercision Rifles
Stock is a new MBR style done by Alex Sitman at Masterclass Stocks Alex also did an absolute perfect full bedding of the action.
Scope is a Sightron 10-50X60 S111 with MOA reticle which I prefer to shot over all others. Rings are by BAT
Trigger is a 2oz Jewell with BAT trigger guard.

I started shooting a 6BRX in 2005' when a had 6mm br barrel punched out to a 6BRX with Bob Crone's reamer. Mike Davis, Larry Isenhour, and Myself were shooting 6BRX at the same time. All shooting records in IBS 600 yds bencherst. Larry and myself shot back to back records on different relays in HG score. That is a retired record with the old targets. http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2009/05/davis-and-isenhour-set-new-600-yard-ibs-records/
I shot the LG group record in 2007' 0.749", I was the first one to go below 1" in 600 yds benchrest. In a few months someone in NBRSA shot a .58xx", one year later, my IBS record was bested to .711" Paul Wagner with a 6BRX, it is down to 0.336" by his Dad Rodney with a Dasher.

Good luck with your 6BRX

Thanks, it appears I my have made the correct choice.

The BRX neck is so short, just use a good FL sizing die and you will be too fine. I tried a bushing die with a bushing to size the neck .002, but it was too loose. My BRX is a tac driver with a standard FL die.

BRX dies are available.

I have never used anything but a Redding small base full length s type bushing die. I have in excess of 50 loadings on my cases. They have never been ran up into a longer die. Just use my straight 6 BR die.

Shot my first round of 6BRX test loads today.
105 Bergers and some Varget produce one 5 shot group of a 1/4 moa at 100 yards. A little more tuning and I'll be there.
