My new 6mmBR

I have been shooting 80gr Bergers and Varget and my groups are like .308, .106, .299 .156 and yesterday .223, but yesterday I shot for the first time some 105gr VLD Bergers and RL15 the two groups were .925 and 1.276 don't understand this. The gun is a Hall action and L&W barrel 29" long and 1:8 twist . The 1.276 group showed a little hot, so I'll play around with the powder and seating depth. I have had some JLK VLD bullets on order for a month don't know if I'll ever get them, so I shot the 105 Bergers.

In my BR & BRX the Bergers like to be into the lands 0.015" to 0.020". I have seen the groups open up when off the lands. I shoot Varget in mine, but i have RL 15 to try. Back off you load to start, Jam the bullets,0.020" will give you a square on the bullets, from the riflings), with about 0.003" grip on the bullets, so the bullet want push back into the case.

I'v been asking question aboutlead on Benchrest Central. My chamber is a 6mmBR .080 free bore and 1.5 lead for 105gr Bergers VLD. I think 1.5 lead is to much, you lose a lot of rifling with 1.5 lead to me it looks like a throat that has erosion and needs to be rechambered and I have less than 100 rounds through it.
