hi all
i am just about to receive my new 6mmBR from my gunsmith and am thinking about load work, i have done load work on other rifles before but i only was worried about 1/2 minute of angle and have never worked with vld bullets and jamming bullets.
my question is, how do people normally go about load work can you involve your barrel break in with it.
all i normally do is load up 5 shot groups in half grain increments, so because of that i have 7 loads ranging from 27gr to 30gr all just touching the lands and was planning to shoot for group size.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
powder is adi2208 with federal 205m primers,i don't have much choice in NZ) i am using lapua brass and 105gr scenars. the barrel is a lilja heavy palma 30" 1-8 twist with a 271 no turn neck. the rifle will be used for f class.
i don't know if all that info is necessary but too much info is better than not enough
