My new .308Win

Figured I would post some pics since I bought most the parts from fellow forum members plus this site got me hooked and I had to have one built.

All work done by Russell Banks at Scout Supply Company out of LaGrange, TX. Its a .308Win .343NK .080FB, Trued Rem 700 SA, Bartlein 5R MTU contour 10 twist finished @ 24" long .955" @ muzzle with recessed crown, H&S stock thats bedded, Badger Ordnance rail (bedded) - rings (lapped) - bolt knob - recoil lug - M5 DBM, 40X LE trigger tuned to 2 pounds, Harris bipod, and all metal CeraKoted graphite black. Unfortunately my standard height (.823") Badger rings would not allow my Bushnell Elite Tactical 6-24x50 illuminated mil-dot scope to fit! The front of the scope hits the barrel. So I have the rings for sale in the classifieds for $125. Gotta buy medium height (.885") Badger rings.

Man that rifle has attitude! Nice job abd tell us how she shoots.

Well I shot it for the first time today. I shot 50 rounds of 175g SMK's and Varget all at .020" off lands. 10 at 40g, 10 at 40.5g, 10 at 41g, 10 at 41.5g and 10 at 42g. After slowly shooting and a few cleaning for the first 20 rounds I then buckled down and shot some 5 shot groups. Every group was 1 hole. I couldnt tell a difference from 41g to 42g. Now I need to stretch it out past 500 yards and see how accurate it really is.
