My new 22-250! Built by 6br forum!

Hey guys here is my new 22-250. Its a rem 700 trued action,shilen 14 twist rem varmint contour 28 inches long with target crown, rifle basix trigger,bell stock green with black web compoletly bedded,and a burris 6-24 signature scope. Best part of this build was every last part was bought from the good people of this sight. The gun was built for next years PD trip to south dakaota.

You made them too small.

Try Ramshot Big Game powder and 55 gr Sierra, great PD load in my 22 250. Very accurate around 3580 FPS. Easy to load for volume shooting like PD towns.

RX -
WW760, FED LR Magnum Match; and Hornady 55SX for 425yd & under. VV160 and I4350 should be good choices, also.

If pressing for 500, then I'd recommend use of a BT.... like Hornady's 55SX.

If you try any custom 60's, you'll probably have to keep them under .75" long.... in-order to remain stable in that twist.
Don't think you could stabilize Sierra .224" cal 65's in your 1-14.

I acually got a 14 twist to shoot 40 to 50 grain bullets for the effect on priarie dogs. The WOW factor

Try the 34 grain "dogtowns" or varmint nightmares with Varget. 4,000+ with excellent accuracy to 200+ yards.

How does it shoot?

I run Berger 55 and Varget in factory Rem700 SPS Varmint and it shoots sub half moa jumping .170"
