Here’s what I do.
1..Make longer adjusting tool ( from .093â€, 3/32†SS tig wire) grind thin slot, bend handle, bend aligns with slot.
2.. Grind rear trigger guard screw aluminum boss. ( grind on an angle ,more off bottom than top)
3..Drill trigger guard on a slight angle, a little bigger than the adjusting tool wire size.
This is how I deal with adjusting the trigger without having to take the gun apart. I done this to both my Savage LRPV target actions 3 yrs ago. It works like a Dream. Did you ever set your trigger and put the gun back together and find out it’s still off (too light or too hard), this Mod. will fix that , with out ever having to get off the line.
Maybe Savage will take my idea and run with it.
