My first long range at Louisiana F-Class Long Range 2023

Competed in my first long range match and had a great time. The people at Long Long Range Alley Gun Club were awesome and put on a great match. Winds there switch back and forth and was a great learning event for me. I had a low score of 182 due to a crossfire, love and learn. But I ended the competition with a 198-5X and 197-11X on match 4 and 5. My KW Precision LLC rifle was running great when the nut behind the butt was driving it correctly. I want to thank Norm for all the advice he has been giving me and Tyler for helping me learn to read the mirage on team day. Met some great people and looking forward to the next matches.

Not real close but definitely worth the travel once and awhile to attend a club match.

I travel 3 hours to get there. Any more than that is to far for me to not have to go up the day before and get a place to stay and that can get expensive.
