People say to set that brass aside when it happens, when running a string of ten it’s not possible to separate them if we can’t see the impact.

And, on the other hand what if your new purchased bullets were dropped on a hard surface in shipping or other handling ?

That’s smart.
I put a little o ring around the extractor groove on this case so I can watch it in the next cycle, but I’m as sure as I can be that it was related to the bullet.

which scares me every order of bullets seeing how our packages are handled
It leads me to think how much better we could shoot if we picked them up at the factory

I've had customers say things to me like "I wish it would have had more padding but, it arrived ok"
I feel the same for our bullets, I wish they would pack them in soft foam
More like a failure to pick up a change in conditions on that target, at the distance some of us shoot it doesn’t take much of an error to really put you in the doghouse for the day.
Iirc those top four are about 1 inch center to center @ 1000 yards.

June is coming millions of cottonwood seeds in the air. If you watch how the seeds move in many directions at the same time over a couple hundred feet you have to wonder if flags are any value. Next time at the range and the air is filled with seeds report back to us what you think.

If you seen the way those packages are thrown 20+ feet into those trailers and trucks while they are loading them most people would have a heart attack, LOL. I have seen packages thrown from the loading dock all the way to the front of a 40' trailer.

I had a group just like that last year at a 1K match at Harris except, you know....in the 10 ring.
Lucky for me we were using Shot Markers. My velocity for that shot on target was 75 FPS slower than the rest!! I am guessing 125 FPS + slower at my end. I do know I was loading for that HG at about 3 AM. Nothing good happens after 10:00 PM.
