My first black rifle

A friend had this Springfield Saint in his safe, nib. it's like a Victor, pre model.
I put an eotech holographic, larue trigger & a different muzzle break on it.
Interesting rifle. Totally new thing to me. I've hunted all my life and shot BR 3-4 yrs but this is different.
The holographic sight is super cool to shoot with. At 100 yds I was busting 3" clays on the berm like crazy with 3 shot groups.
Just wanting to share my new interest.

I like it, and I like the AR platform in general. What Eotech did you install? I have a model that comes with the magnifier I think it's a HHS, has a two dot reticle. I was pleasantly surprised with the accuracy at 200 with this set up, I was expecting pie plate size, but it was much smaller than that.

You will love the LaRue trigger. I have used them all, jewel, giessle, compass lake and the others. The LaRue simply amazed me at 80 bucks. Have been replacing the match triggers in my AR's with the LaRue.

I got the holographic 512 I think it is. The circle with dot. It doesn't change if I put a magnifier on.
It's 1 moa per 100 coverage I do believe. I'm so new to this info I may speak dumb chit ! Lol

My 3 Sons each have one with White Oak Armament uppers with Shilen barrels, and Stiller Predator lowers with GEISSELE TRIGGERS. One of my Grandsons has the same components except a Milazzo-Krieger trigger. Mine was put together by John Holiger at White Oak as a legal Service Rifle. I used an Elftmann trigger. I have a 30MM Leupold 1 1/2-4 1/2 power.Waiting on my Wife's upper from Nez Rongero "Bamban". It will have a used competition barrel shortened to 16 inches and will have a green laser. I still need to get her a good trigger.
Rusty Stud has loaded several thousand rounds for us.
