My barrels has Worms?

I think my barrels has worms. How do you get rid of them? Are they dangerous?

Does anyone know what is going on in the bore of my barrel? New barrel with 393 rounds on it since January. Whatever those marks are start in the last 6” before the muzzle and you can feel it with a tight patch or brush. There are 7 to 10 patches of whatever it is in a 2-3” section of barrel...

Just quit cleaning. After a few hundred rounds you'll forget it's there.

Cyanides are bad for your teeth. I went Medieval on one barrel with HCl and still no pitting, just clean steel.

LOL. Tried this many times, what a bunch of crap. After clean patch run bronze brush 10x and see what junk you get!

This seems to be a culprit and vector of transmission of Boreworm infestation.

You say nothing about how the rifle shoots just about the appearance of the bore.

How does the rifle shoot? If it shoots to your standards, then why would you care how it looks?
