It's a Leupold VX-III 6.5x20x50 LRT.jefats said:Ditto what all the others said.
Tell me about the scope. I'm waiting on a Cooper 6BR (1-10 twist) in their Phoenix version and I'm considering a ss scope to go with their Kelvar stock.
Nice job on yours.
Mike Dean did the work on the gun, It's a Bobby Hart stock that i got from Stocky'seddywitay said:sweet rig. I bet it will be a woodchucks worst nightmare. did u say hart built that rig or just got you the stock
I got a ton of time in sanding the channel to try to get it floated, i'm up to 5 hrs of sanding with 80 grit and it's still not close to being done. With a #8 contour i expected to have some sanding involed but not quite this much.jonbearman said:That is a super looking rifle and a clean build. You must update after you shoot it.I am going to get a bobby hart for one of my remmys this year. They are just a great deal with the aluminum block in it for such a rightous price that is affordable by most people.
It could be done but the alumn bed is "V" shaped so it's supposedly not needed.jefats said:Is glass bedding an option?
Thanks Ron, it's a little rounded on the bottom and about 2.5" wide. Not really the best choice for benchrest shooting i would think.RonRouse said:Stapher, that is one great looking rig! How wide is the forearm and is it flat on bottom? Good luck on shooting it.

It was 100yds but only 3 shots. I only do 5 shots for match loads and 3 for hunting loads, unless curiosity get's the best of me on a certain load.bozo699 said:Stapher1,
WOW!! that's great, was that 100 yards 5 shots? There won't be a varmint safe with that rifle in the woods.

Thanks John, I had the gun in my hands all day yesterday, i just couldn't put it down. It was hard going to work today.JohnO said:I have that same stock on my 6 BR and an 8 twist Benjamin barrel, but mine has iron sights and a lower channel cut in for a hand stop. Your rifle looks pretty nice!
