MXX-123 scale on a battery?

Just curious if anyone has run the MXX-123 off a battery pack, similar to the threads on running the Chargemasters? I have a wandering zero issue, and have done everything short of a high end line filter to settle it down. So I wondered about building or buying a set up to run off a battery.
