Muzzle break removal impact...

I have never had a muzzle break and our club won't let you shoot them in competition. So my question is what is the POI impact when you remove the break? I assume every rifle is a bit different in the way it acts but I'm curious as to what your experience is.

I'm thinking about putting one on my Creedmoor and when shooting in the monthly shoots pulling it off and putting a thread protector in place of it.

Mine will changge between 1-2 inches at 100 yards. Also the tune changes. I'd keep in one way or the other.
