muzzle break copper?

Link

Silver $$ Contributor
Is it normal to get blue from your muzzle break when using wipeout? I thought it might be coming from copper in the bore so I took the break off before applying wipeout. Then I put wipeout in the break on the bench, I got quite a lot of blue cleaning it that way. I got none from the bore. My bud said he gets the same thing. Has anyone seen this?
thanks

This is not unusual, I don't have the scientific details but it has something to do with copper gases being deposited in the brake. Looks like Mark W has heard the same thing.

Vaporized copper is pretty normal. If your getting strikes from the bullet the groups will immediately let you know.
