i'm considering a muzzle brake for a Savage 10T-SR in 6.5 Creedmoor.
is it really necessary and if so what make/model would anyone suggest.

I have an APA Fat Bastard on my Creedmoor and like it a lot. It is loud however.

I’ve tried a few and I’m a huge fan of the AREA 419 Hellfire. I’d compare my 9 lb 6.5x47 to a 222 in terms of recoil.

put a harrells on 5 rifles and love them all. you get to see bullet going to the target. best of all they are only $30.
