I am posting this again, if you want to hear a sad story, just view the below URL link! FWIW, the PO has gotten me in trouble the last 10 days!
If anyone is reading this that had a shipment sent from me, just watch the below! It's very sad. It might be part of the problem that delayed some of my shipments. The others shippers have their Holiday Season issue's as well.
All were swamped this Christmas season, plus the PO employees apparently
didn't like the overload either "resulting" in some of them being "FIRED"!
You have to try real hard to get fired from a Federal Job!
Several Post Office Employees were fired in Baton Rouge for throwing mail away! See the posted story below from our local TV station!

Plus theft of packages from all carriers are at a all time high. I understand
people with drones are following the shipping trucks, and when they stop and drop off a large package, they send someone immediately to the drop off location to "steal" the package/packages.
Many things happen that affect shipments.
This Christmas season is the first time I have "ever" been affected real bad by the USPS. I have had issues with UPS in the past. I don't use FedEx to often, but I have never had any issues with them.
The only thing I "can't" defend is the shipper who told the customer that
"Free Shipping" get's put on the bottom of the pile hourly! I "am not" trying to defend anyone, just stating several issues that's currently happening. This should never happen. Sometimes I offer "free" shipping,
but I never put these orders on the bottom, never! I believe, "
never could confirm", the situation with the USPO in Baton Rouge is partly what affected me! This is our main hub in the local area.
Another issue: Both FedEx & UPS now use the Post Office for final delivery. This is one of the main reasons our local Post Office Employees (who were pi**ed about this) started throwing our mail away! The employees didn't like this decesion by their superiors. They couldn't be to smart as they threw "bundles" in the trash and drainage ditches. USPO superiors knew exactly/instantly who the USPO employees were that "dumped" the mail! The "Big Dog's" from DC came down to asses the situation, and weeded out the unhappy employees. They also "punished" several others pretty severely! This situation was uncovered by a local concerned citizen who just happen to witness one PO employee throwing "material" in the ditch. This person turned around and inspected the pile and immediately call the local Police. This citizen has received many thanks for taking the time to do this. And lets also remember the few USPO employees who were stealing checks while on their route, sending them to other parts of the country and having "others" cash them or whatever they did to "collect" the money!
USPO MONEY ORDERS were also being stolen, and also being counterfeited! They really didn't care the SS would be on their tails pretty quick. My national bank treats USPO Money Orders just like if it were a personal check. In fact, any paper money is just that, "Paper"! It pains me to state this, but Credit Cards are about the safest payment method currently.
And now we have "Amazon Prime" delivery services. There's Bugs, many of them, but any new venture or new system will take a few days to straighten out. The biggest problem is people who have "never" delivered anything in their lives are now driving trucks and delivering packages. The biggest problem I see in my area, the Prime drivers GPS's are wrong in several cases resulting in your shipment being dropped off a few blocks from your business or home! This has already cost Amazon "thousands" in my area. They know they have a problem, and if the tracking info states your package was dropped off, and it's nowhere to be found, they immediately ship out a duplicate order, hardly any questions asked!
NOTE: Shippers are definetly at fault at times, I am just stating there are many factors that affects shipping of any products. Plus Vendors making promises they don't deliver as promised.
JMO, I welcome any questions and/or corrections, Thanks, Dennis
