FEDEX: SCENIC TOUR OF THE WEST

I forget who it was on here that sold an item and got the check three months later. It had been post mark the day after the sale was agreed to.. That was amazing that it made it at all after that length of time..
 
I have a recent story about tracking. A few weeks ago I ordered a kitchen range hood insert from Lowe’s. They claimed that they would receive it early last week. Going from manufacture in Wi to NM. Once the tracking showed that the item was in transit, it said that the item was picked up in Ohio. Two days later it was at the store in Massachusetts! Neither of which made any sense. The day that it was supposed to be at the store in New Mexico, it then said that the shipping was delayed. I went to the store 2 days later, to see if they could figure out what was going on. They looked up the tracking info confusion, and called the shipping company. Then they were informed that the item had already been delivered to their store. Customer service person went back to check. 15 minutes later came carting it to me. So tracking info isn’t always correct.
 
Midway products always tour the U.S. before showing up! My monopod took 5 weeks from Missouri to Tennessee: record!

Longest layover was Knoxville; stayed there 2 weeks before shipping to Atlanta Georgia. My home is 50 miles from Knoxville but Midway Customer Service was lost for words on this one.

When I ordered my AMP I had the same experience. Amp got it to FedEx the same day as I ordered it, then FedEx put it on the pony express after that every 100 miles it stopped and changed horses.
 
Technology being what it is, luck should not be part of the equation. If you pay extra additional money for two or three day delivery and it does not happen, you, as the customer, are due a refund. If you bought a new vehicle and paid for an option that it was delivered without, would the old postal clerk, “I don’t know, man. Sorry.” fix the problem? I didn’t think so. Think how many times it has happened to you and now you know why there is no rush to fix the problem - or offer refunds.
 
If it spent time at the Fedex Troutdale facility, and if it isn't hardened, it might have adopted Gen☆Z attitude. Smoking weed, waiting on another Covid check, becoming an Antifa apparatchik, shouting slogans, burning and looting at peaceful protests.
If it smells like patchouli and skunk cabbage when you open the box, it's been ruined.....
So what's really buggin you? Lol
 
Hands down FedEx is the worst. For a while I thought about sending them an "entertainment" fee as I tracked packages from various sellers across the US. Would go on Google Earth and see my package spending 2 days at a freeway off-ramp in New Mexico.... They got better - now it takes 2 days to get from Iowa to their facility in Tracy, CA. It may sit there for a day or two, then spend 3 days en-route to Fresno (150mi +/-). Another 3 days in Fresno, even though they delivered other packages to my house during that period. Called FedEx twice and was told someone would call and update - never happened. Advised the seller - won't purchase from them again if I get to checkout and the only option is FedEx.

The Rittenhouse trial was bothering me, but with him being found NOT GUILTY on all counts, I'm smiling now.
What I wrote was an attempt to poke fun at the SJWs, woke hootenanny and whacked out druggies here in Po'tland, as well as the black hole that the FedEx facility in Troutdale has become.
Edit, three overnight packages in the past month, not one of them made it overnight, and one took two days.
