MTR updated - mid price and premium ammo

Just out of the box, ran one wet patch down it followed by 4 dry. Removed the stock and loosened then retorqued the barrel grub screws to 35 inch pounds. Reinstalled stock and torqued the action screws to 20 inch pounds. 90+ F , very low wind, overcast

Shot from rest with bunny ear rear bag. No cleaning was done between ammo changes. 5 shots to zero scope so these were actually shots 06 - 130 if you want to quibble

I’d say that’s a very good start! It took me a lot more shots than that to get decent group averages with my CZ 453V, but in part because I shot ammo it doesn’t like + didn’t know to test torque. I imagine yours will tighten up further.

Tempted to try some of that SK auto…

Jim....When I started to play with the At-One, I had a couple boxes
of ancient Remington Target. I wish I could go back in time and buy
cases of the stuff....LOL Old sticker says $1.37 !!

I bought 4 bricks of that stuff, all had different lot #s. Three of the lots are just average and when I discovered that 4th lot I called my supplier back that day and there was no more to be had. It's lot #21557/14064 if you can find that lot buy all you can and if your guns don't like it PM me and I will take it off your hands and make it worth your trouble.

perfect morning for test 2 after bedding the rifle. Range was calm overcast and mid 80's. Shot at 50 yards, draw your own conclusions

MTR is entirely OEM, target was shot at 50 yards. I believe the rifle is a solid 1 MOA shooter with mid price ammo. Bedding did not seem to make a great amount of difference, but every little bit helps I suppose. My wood stocked plain Varmint showed a nice improvement at about 1000 rounds

did a test yesterday with $12 and up a box ammo. Two different lots of Midas did the best. The Eley Match not so well. The $20 a box RWS 100 did not perform any better than the RWS Target I picked up at $6 a box

The OnTarget composite was of the 2 lots of Midas

Next test will be the cheap stuff, CCI, Federal, Norma TAC

Mine shot awesome from the get go. But around that 500 to 1000 rounds down barrel my cold clean bore shot starting shooting in the group. Before that it could go roughly 3/4 ish anywhere from the main group. After that i was able to shoot 1 sighter and run a whole ARA target. Roughly around 25to 30k down the barrel now. Your rifle seems to be doing pretty good from what i have seen others at the range doing. Keep it up nice shooting
