MTM is now making a storage case for our expensive cleaning rods.. Holds 4 rods , patches and jags , rods up to 47 inches long also... Can find them at Amazon... Just thought it was a neat idea for people who haul these things around..

I made four or five of these a couple of years ago they are super nice but expensive but if you're doing them for your son it don't matter every rod they make will fit

Great post for the Cabelas Case. The 62" hard case is on sale for $12.99 and will fit my needs nicely. Used my Cabelas points, so no cash out of pocket.

Those sleeves have a little draw cord at the top. You can use it to hang the rods on the wall in the garage.
