Mounting a 4-14 x50 F1 NightForce on a Savage 12 Benchrest

Advice please:
I have ordered a Savage 12 Benchrest 6BR...
I have my old Nightforce SHV 4-14x50 F1 to mount on this.
My shooting is paper at 300 yards or less competing with myself.
I see a huge price variation in scope base and ring prices.
So appreciate some opinions on which to buy and why...thanks

I've been using Nightforce mounts for a while, and have been very pleased with them. NF has that aluminum line of bases, if you want to save some dollars.

One of their bases as a set of Ultralight .885" rings should work just fine.

IMG_0910.JPG I've found that EGW -0- Moa fits Savage quite well, in addition I purchase SWFA in house brand of med height rings 30mm
These rings come with 1 inch inserts giving you two for the price of one.
Rail- approx $50
Rings- approx $39
You may also look into Talley and avoid the rail and save a few $

I've been using Weaver 20 moa bases lately. I think they're more than good enough for any type of shooting. They even have a integral recoil slot.

Any known brand 6 cap low rings ( 0.9"+/-) will work good regardless of their price.
