Most needed "settings" for a FX120i scale

Just got in my new scale I ordered to replace the one I sold, man I missed it...
Anyway I had a member on here give me setup instructions for the most needed settings in the scale. I remembered some and got it reading only grains and grams and powers on to grains, also got the response set to "fast" but I thought there was more needed??

Do you think it's the same as for the autotrickler programming? If so, I can take a few pictures of it.

I have the speed Mode to "FAST", the Stability to "0", and the Zero Tracking set to "3", the highest setting. Sometimes it will settle on a reading 1 division high and withing 2-3 seconds return to the correct reading.

I forgot to mention. You need to make sure the scale is 100% level or it won't read the same. If you move it, re-level it. Keep the breeze shield on as much as possible. I usually remove the right panel and load everything from the side. For a quick test, use a small test weight like an old bullet or something close to the powder charges you are using. Before weighing and during, periodically put the weight on and check to see if it drifted. Occasionally a charge will be right on the borderline and it may want to fluctuate between 2 readings. If it does this just sit back and give it a little more time to stabilize without creating any air movement.

I had problems with the electric in the house and I had to use a line conditioner, a TrippLite LC1200. After that the scale has been very stable.

Thanks! I think that was the other two settings that I was told before but couldn't remember. Good idea on the line conditioner,... will look into one of those.

I weighed my powder pan and wrote the result on the pan with a sharpie. Makes a great check weight. Place the empty pan on before zeroing, should weigh the same every time, if not check level and calibrate

If you have problems getting your scale reliable, you can read the problems I had and everything I tried before finally fixing it. It's 99.999% stable not and I haven't had to re-calibrate it in over 2 years. It all boiled down to dirty electric in the house.

I had problems with my FX120i (drifts), tried all kind of set ups help like the above links, finally gave up and sent it to their factory repair stations. Package it well per their instructions, was advise via email every steps of the way from receipt to repair department and sent back to me less than a week and a half! Nothing but some adjustments and it was good as new. Was waiting for an invoice and because of the 5 years warranted, my cost ended up costing me the cost shipping it to them. Stellar service from those folks. Ounce received, I up graded to V3 trickler, no auto thrower (use the Lee spoons)and I am a very happy camper...
To know that the factory had it set to it's standards and no no drifts. I hope this will of help to someone.
