Speer TNT...... I've done a lot of testing on the subject and with all things being equal there is no comparison. BIG hollow point with a very thin jacket. Try them. You WILL like the results.

TNT's are very good. Right up there with Vmax. I should have mentioned that in previous post.

Yup, I would have liked to see them stick with the MEF's. I've never had their varmint bullets perform too well.

I guess it all depends on the velocity the bullets are traveling at and the mass of the target they are hitting. Prairie dogs are different than rock chucks/ground hogs are different than ground squirrels and so on. A LOT of study is needed on this subject. It seems like a 220 swift makes all bullets explode on contact. Again we all need to do more research on the subject. I do at least one scientific research project ( prairie dog shoot ) a year on the subject. And believe it or not I have trouble finding people to help me with this research every year. Seems like someone is always backing out.

I had Cooper install a 26" barrel on it.
If you're going to buy a sports car, then you don't get the one with the small motor!

Thanks Gary. Her leg looks alot longer than that to me. Must be the tapper of the barrel. I have a Cooper M22 6BR with a 26" Bbl. Yours just looked longer to me.

I can't get the TNT's to shoot. Here 22 cal is Vmax or my favorite a Nosler BT Varmint ...Most of the time all that is left of a Pdawg is an inside out skin.. In my 204 the Sierra's get the nod, cause they shoot well..

In my 243 a 75 gr Vmax is super explosive..

Sorry guys, I was unaware of that. I don't have any personal experience. Just what I read

Was considering them in 6mm flavor. The 70 gr Sierra blitz is what I ended up with. Tiny groups and I'm more than satisfied with the terminal performance.

In my 22-250 I like the 55 Gr varmagedons... I think they hit a little harder and not explosion than the norm 55 Gr bt noslers... Now if I'm doing short range work I got a box of 50 Gr Barnes varmint grenades that are astonishingly explosive out of my 223.. By far the most explosive but like dcryder said above ... By no means the most accurate .. But I got them right so I use those at short range.. 200 and down.. I have tried a couple times even at 100 yds to get double penetration.. Won't happen ... And I have done it with my 250 and 55 Gr bt's...
