Morning Shoot

We went out Friday morning for the first shoot of the 2026 season. The weather was good until about 1 pm, then rain chased us off. Here’s a shot of the scenery, including my Stevens 44-1/2 in 22 KHornet.

Nice little shooting table. And man that barrel is fat! Hope you whacked a few of them, anyway!

I love SS rifles, especially 22 Hornets...
But, I am mostly a Borchardt or HW addict.

I like them, too. I also have a Stevens 44 in 22 rimfire and a Winchester 1885 low wall in 22 KHornet.

We each got 34 or so. The shooting table uses folding banquet table legs, 2 in the front, 1 in the rear. It weighs about 20 pounds, very portable. The seat folds up, too, plus it swivels 360 degrees. For me, it works well, I can set up or break down in about 10 minutes. I’ve had this for about 25 years.
