I am confident that they fit into the "premium" lines as far as cleaning solvents go. I use MT 50BMG as my copper solvent now. I used to use CR-10 and some other smaller brands, but I could not tell any difference between them in effectiveness; however, the MT line pulls copper like no other I have used. Soon, I will be a compounding pharmacist, so I use the oral syringes usually resevered for dispensing to 'dose' the 50 BMG onto my patches. Just a little fyi, it takes right at 0.5 cc,mL) to saturate a patch for .257-.308 caliber work. I have not used it with my .338 just yet, but it may take a bit more. With the method I use to clean a dirty rifle, about 45 shots or so), it takes me 2.5-3 mLs to remove 75-90 percent of the copper with 50BMG. Then I let Wipe-out w/Accelerator soak up to overnight as needed to finish off the cleaning.
I had a Model 7 7SAUM that had a rusty bore, chamber and bolt face from RP. I would used JB paste, IOSSO, GM TEC, SC/Kroil 50:50 and several others to try and get all the rust out and keep it out. After trying out the 50 BMG, I decided to bite the bullet and get the Bore Conditioner and Gun oil. I cleaned the rust out again with JB followed by some 50 BMG and then used the Bore Conditioner as listed on the product label. The gun set up another couple weeks while I was waiting to take it back to the shop I bought it at to swap it out for a new one. Out of curiousity, before I took it back I swabbed the bore. No rust. The bolt was rust-free as was the chamber wall. I'm sold! I will not be reordering many of the other chemicals I currently use because they are out-classed by the Montana Xtreme line.
All you need in your gun cleaning arsenal in my opinion is something for carbon,GM TEC and occasional JB paste), MT EX 50BMG for copper, Bore conditioner from MT EX to neutralize the 50BMG or whatever it actually does, and their gun oil if you are going to store the rifle. I follow up the cleaning with Wipe-out because it works so well and is brainless as far as knowing your rifle is clean. If it patches out blue you have more copper to deal with and brown/black you have some carbon fouling to contend with. Simply put, Montana Xtreme just works!
Watch out for the vapors though! They are potent!!!
