davies 2 stage trigger for remington 700

Coming from a service rifle highpower background, I wanted a good 2-stage trigger when I had my 1st LR prone rifle built in 1999. Got some negative feedback on Jewell's 2-stage version of their HVR; Davies was about the only other option without going to the expense of purchasing an Anschutz and a Briley hanger/adaptor. I've had no issues with the Davies mounted on the Nesika K, once I got the 2nd stage adjusted heavy enough so that I didn't pull right through it. The trigger shoe is adjustable for LOP & cant, which is a nice feature.

I guess the Davies isn't considered a true 2-stage trigger, since it can be adjusted to work as a single stage, but it works for me. I don't believe I'll be swapping it out for another trigger anytime soon, even though I've got Jewell HVRs & Kelbly triggers on all my other prone & BR rifles.
