We just did a Stiller group buy at the Hide, about 170 actions.

I might be interested in a Stiller group buy, for a Viper drop port. Drop ports would be fairly simple for a group buy, not so many options like on the Predator/Tac group buy for SH. Either a BR or PPC boltface, not many options to choose from. These actions are a great platform for a LV rifle, or any other benchrest rifle for that matter. They would also be great for a live varmint rifle or an F-Class rifle. I would think that it wouldn't take extremely long to make a run of these, although I'm not in a hurry. They already may be the best value in custom BR actions at their current price, another hundred bucks off would make them tough to resist for any contemplating another build. Just my thoughts.

I believe he should finish up on the Hide buy around the first of March, I'm sure he'd love to keep it rolling.

Edit- There were really 111 actions sold on the Hide buy from Stiller and Surgeon also has one going.

There were 111 actions sold on The Hide in that group buy. Way more than anticipated and there are some issues with the promised delivery dates. It's safe to say the actions, ALL of them, will be several months late on delivery.

I've heard of a new action coming out that is going to have BR quality with a little space left to eat dirt. Would make a good field, varmint, tactical action.

Suppose to retail around $800 and every action is going to be made to exacting specs. You could buy 5 of them and they will all be interchangeable. Short actions only in .473 and .378 bolt face.
