Has anyone ever seen a jewel trigger for a model 70 Winchester? Are they a good trigger and what should one cost? I have a line on one but want to be sure this is the way to go. Thanks to anyone that can help.

They have another in 308 win so maybe I will buy both and combine the parts I need to finish my project. It would be about 900.00 for both guns to buy right now. I hope it is worth it. They are both former sling guns drilled and tapped for peep sights. I just hope it isn't a loosing proposition. What do you guys think. I will end up with 3 in the end but this is becoming my budget blown.LOL

On most Winchester Jewell installations the cocking piece needs modification to get the
Safety to work properly.
A great trigger when properly installed but be cautious if you need a functional Safety.

I have several pre 64 model 70 Winchester rifles with Jewel triggers. They are great triggers and easily adjusted. I paid 245. for one and 190. for the other both were new.Has anyone ever seen a jewel trigger for a model 70 Winchester? Are they a good trigger and what should one cost?
