Jard model 70 trigger

Anyone have any reviews of the jard model 70 trigger pre 2008. Looking specifically at the 5oz version. Maybe something else in a target weight I might be missing beside jewell

Forgive my ignorance, but what's the significance of "pre 2008" WRT Model 70s and triggers? Honest question. I've resolved a pre-'64 trigger issue before, just curious.

The Jard appears to be a fully adjustable version of the original M70 version. If you are talking about replacing the MOA version that is an entirely different trigger. Timney makes replacements for both and I am thinking of trying both of them since I have M70 rifles with both types of triggers.

If you truly want a 5 oz break, pony up for a Jewell and never look back. For something around 2 lbs a Timney or Jard would likely be fine.

Personally I cleaned up my traditional Win trigger with a diamond lap and a shorter spring (Ernie's). It's now a great hunting trigger at 2 lbs.
