Another vote for the 6 XC.
Consider the mag length of the short action. Many of these cartridges mentioned are at max MAGAZINE length and can not get near the lands. With the shorter 6 XC length, which is the same as a 22/250, you have plenty of room in the mag box, and surprisingly, achieve the same velocity as a 243. Peterson brass is superb, to say the least.
It is really nice to have room in the mag box to chase the lands as the leade grows over time.
I have two 6 XCs, one 8 twist, 28", where I shoot the 105g Berger(3100 fps-H4350-R#17-3175fps), and the other a 24", 12 Twist hart where I shoot the 70g TNT at 3700 fps into the 2's, with 3800 being the max load with groups in the very high 1s and low 2s with AA2230 and Rem 9 1/2s in Peterson brass.
