The hash marks above the center line are definitely in your view.I have two long range scopes with the MOA hash marks,is there a reason to have hash marks in the top vertical x- hair? To me it just clutters my field of view. I'm sure there is a good reason and I must have slept though that class
Not sure ,guess I should read the distrucktions. From the sounds of things they are pretty handy. I don't like them for hunting that well though, way to much clutter. Just me of courseWhat does the scope maker say they're used for?
Sounds good ,are your hash marks on with your Moa dial or close?I use mine for measuring\ranging. Also shooting F-class if the X isn't clear for whatever reason, I use the hashmarks to bracket the target.
All of my rigs are zeroed at 200 with zero stops, if I need to shoot at 100 I use a hashmark and use sighters to get on the target, shoot for score and then can go back to my 200 yard zero
Thank you ,I'm on itThere particularly handy especially a one minute reticle.
Check the scope forum under SWFA there is an example of ranging targets you may find useful
