MO F-Class Mid Range State Championship Sept 27-28th

Thanks you Ryan, Pete and Mike for taking the time to make these matches happen. Without you'll, there be no shoots. Thank you Michelle as well!

Got to meet new friends, which is what it's really about..the boys from up north, James, Robert and Joe all shot great. Pete and Joe Myers have really stepped up they games as well..Mike had ammo issues this weekend, or he'd been in the thick of it as well..it's always great to see the Sierra boys, Tommy and Mark. Their presence on the firing lines is becoming a comman thing, and it's great to see their support of the sport. .all the shooters were pushing each other, shooting great scores, thus we all pushed ourselves, resulting in some really great scores..the 200's seemed to feed off one another! The weather and winds were story book perfect, and the scores reflect it. It was a great weekend, and a great time. Main thing is, I've got the blue dollar back!!:)

Special thank you to Mike for taking the time to feed us all both evening. Dang them frog legs and catfish were good! I really do owe you a steak dinner. Can't wait for the next shoot you guys put on!

Thank you to Midway USA for the door prizes as well!!!

Ed! You should have come down for this match, it was a blast.

Ive had my new(to me) rifle almost a month and have yet to put a round down it. Need to buy some new brass and find time to work up a load for each of the 2 barrels.

Its really hard to put this one away though.

I really like them also, especially for midrange. The rifle was built for them.

Jeremy, already on the calendar. I might have to try the 155.5's unless I can get recoil management under control with these 200's. We had wind but it was manageable. Waaayyy to may 8's this Saturday :o

You boys were getting serious up there today....lol....Congrats to everyone that shot well, i heard Jeremy Newell hammered it in FTR today as well........Great shooting guys!

Jeremy hammered it all weekend only dropping 10 points in the two day. It was a great time and a good group of shooters.

Nice shooting guys!

So did Jeremy get that new gun running or did he stick with the tried and true and those 155.5 full bores? The ENGC guys want to know how much MORE they have to pick up the pace!

Regards,

Ed

He shot his old gun. I would say the bar is set pretty high for the new gun.

Was he shooting 155.5 FBs?
yes I was

Fantastic and congrats.
I also shoot the 155.5. Really like it.

Big thanks to Mike, Pete, Michelle and Ryan for making this match happen, they run a great match. I had a great time, food was great and look forward to next year.

Yes, most of all thanks to Ryan, Michelle, Pete, & Mike and everyone else that helped put on the match. Very well run match. Mike's hush puppies alone are worth the drive.

Great shooting Jim! You smoked'em all weekend and you really earned it. With only three points separating 1st and 5th Pete, Lenny and Joe all shot great and waiting for a small one point opportunity to make the finish a little more interesting. It ended up all for naught because Jim never gave anyone an opening.... well deserved 1st place.

Extra kudo's to Ryan, Michelle, Pete, & Mike... the shoot ran flawlessly! Also, thanks to the pit and range officer who kept the pace running smoothly.

Mike's fried catfish, hushpuppies and frog legs were great! Ryan did a great job frying catfish Saturday too, I may just come back for that next year.

It was great meeting everyone and thank you for your gracious hospitality. I know this event will be one of Bob's and my high priority, in the future. Okay, get your calendars out and come up to Wisconsin next year in June and shoot the Midwest Palma at Winnequah. I'm sure Bob and I will be able to find a couple of cold beers for you!

Thanks again
Jim

Thanks to all those who make this match happen. It was a lot of fun and the four of us enjoyed our time down there. Look forward to doing it again next year! And perhaps we'll get some of y'all to come up here and try out a Nebraska match some time!

Thank you all for a great weekend! I don't think there could have been a better group of guys to shoot with. Many took the time between matches to pass along knowledge they've learned along the way. Being a younger shooter, I greatly appreciate it. Thanks once again and I look forward to shooting with you guys in the future.

It was fun shooting with ya Joe, umm, does the wind blow in Nebraska? ;D

Likewise Tommy! About the wind...nah, it's calm as a summer hurricane most days. LOL!
