I'm just coming for two reasons. To see you beat Jeremy and Brad and to get out of the shop with my girls for a few days.

I'm finishing up loading ammo tonight and tomorrow. I don't know if I'm most looking forward to froglegs and catfish or watching Pete win a blue dollar with the Dasher.

Jeremy, Pete has the dollar now and I had it before him and Jim before me. It's a bulls ring of a sort. It must be signed and put back up for grabs at the next big match. Just something we are having fun with. Weather is looking better than good and my ammo is loaded so that's a relief. I have a few extras to plink around with you guys Friday. I might even bring a egg or two along for some entertainment.

I sure hate saying this, but I won't be able to make it this weekend. I just got back home from my aunts funeral and my father is still in the hospital. It's been a crappy week!!!!!! If there is a October F class match then let me know. Thank!

We are off to a great start! The weather was excellent and that translated to some great scores. There are 37 shooters from 7 states in attendance and the competition is fierce! I met some great guys from other states today and hope to come shoot on your home ranges in the future.

After we finished today, Mike Jakubczak cooked fish, frog legs, hush puppies and french fries. I will speak for the rest of the group and say it was all delicious.

Congrats to Jeremy Newell for shooting a 594-31X in F-T/R and Lenny Bagdon for his unbelievable 600-41X in Open. These guys are leading the pack after the first day of shooting.

Side note: James Laney is shooting T/R not Open. This will be updated for tomorrow.

Very intense match today. Congrats to Lenny with the new range record ! We are very happy for him since he is a fine fellow and only a few years into the sport. Tomorrow should be interesting with such a close race in open.
