I'm assuming this is a two day match...how many rounds fired?

Good shooting yesterday Joe! After that win in Iowa, you should come down and take home a Blue Dollar!

Jeremy

Jeremy,

The thought has crossed my mind...have to see what I can work out with Heidi...wonder if there are any camp grounds around there???

Ok. I'll look. Might bring the girls which would require a hotel...

Say, does a non resident get the blue dollar if they win or is that a state thing only? ;-)

Sounds good Pete...what kind of rifles you guys generally shoot, caliber and such? Looks like some pretty good scores have been posted down there.

Joe

I shoot a Winchester '94 in 30-30 ;).

All kidding aside we shoot the common F-Open cartridges. I shoot a .284 shehane or 6 Dasher. Other guys shoot .284's/and variants, Dashers, BR's, 6.5X47's, etc. Most guys are shooting .308 in T/R, but there are some .223s that show up from time to time. It is a challenging range, but is one of the nicest clubs and ranges around.

Thanks

Pete

A .30-30 huh? Well I may be a little under gunned then. Guess I'll just have to do the best I can with my old .30 carbine and let the chips fall where they may....LOL!

Joe, I hope you can make it for this one. I think we are going to have a heck of a battle in the open class. The more the better as we feed on each other in shooting. I will do my best to keep you guys honest. Lol

A nice place to stay, and it is new:

Fairfield Inn & Suites St. Louis West/Wentzville
130 Crossroads South Drive
Wentzville, MO 63385
(636) 332-5000

Lots of restaurants and stores within a few blocks along Pearce Blvd and Wentzville Pkwy.
It is 17 miles, about 25 minutes from the BRRC.

Since Mike is going to be frying fish after we finish shooting Saturday, I'm going to add an informal swap meet to the schedule. Everyone is welcome hang out afterwards and snack on fish and buy/trade/sell a few things.

My wife makes some great onion rings so we will make some of them along with some more catfish to make sure we don't run out. It's a safe bet we will have plenty. ;D

The match is just around the corner. If you are sitting on the fence, this is one you won't want to miss. It's getting a little late to worry about mailing your entry, so just post here or send me a PM if you are going to attend.

Stay tuned for the trophy pictures later this week. Is anyone else getting excited yet?

Ryan,
Sent you a pm. Will get the entry from out today and you should have it in a couple of days from here.

Tough call I have not made my mind up yet. Both are shooting great. Your 7 is hammering...Also depends what the conditions will be like.

See you on the line!
