No fibers bars will be allowed in the pits. After the 2012 incident, we have bought two huge warehouse fans to provide some air movement in the pits. Please be courteous of your fellow competitors.
Scott ;D

I seriously hope that is not a joke Scott. Now if I can just figure out a mobile air-exchanger for the drive to and from the match......

The NRA couldn't have picked a better club to highlight F Class. You guys run a first rate operation down there. I'm really looking forward to next Sunday. I wish I could shoot both days but have obligations for Saturday's event.

Brad

No joke on the fans. Trying to provide a little relief in the convection oven we call the "pits". We will also have canopies on the firing line like last year and ice water on the line and the pits. Also the 4 water spigots in the pits help.
Scott

Just a week to go!

and I got my scope back, looks likes there's no more excuses...Got the alarm set for 0430 for Sunday the 28th

Just counted the pre-registrations. I know we are running against a LR BR match in Harris the same weekend.

F-Open: 26 Shooters
F-TR: 22 Shooters

I am sure we will get some more signing up this week, but numbers seem down from last year. Drop me a note if you are coming.

Your not calling the TROUGH a water spigot are you Scott ?

No we actually have fresh, running water in the pits at four locations. Refreshment, plus you can wash the paste off your hands when done refacing targets. Nothing but the best...

Congratulations to Ben Winget and Scott Brabec, F-Open and F-T/R state champions, and all the other shooters.

Scott, great tournament! You and your volunteers put on a smoothly run tournament! You should be proud of this and your efforts to promote F-Class in the upper midwest.

ps - Special props to Lisa Olson for kicking my ass. ;)

congrats to the winners. thank's to the whole elk river crew for a well run match. I wish I could have come back up sunday but it wasn't In the cards. scully.

Congrats to Ben and Scott as well. I also want to add a thanks to Scott O. and the entire staff that ran the pits and called the firing line both days.

Shooting at ERSC on Monday nights is a far cry from the conditions we experienced over the weekend. It was a great learning experience for me, especially the last string of fire on Sunday :-[.

Looking forward to seeing most of you again in a couple weeks.

Congratulations to Ben and Scott and all the shooters who attended the match. 50 shooters with equal numbers of F-Open and F-T/R. We represented the sport of F-class very well. Some awesome scores were recorded, despite the conditions. Patrick and Davey from Shooting USA were impressed with everything. They commmented that the level of competition was as tough as any match they have attended, but they were surprised by the amount of comeraderie and sportsmanship we displayed. I have great expectations that the tv segments will create more interest in competitive rifle shooting.

F-class is an amazing sport when you stop to consider that we have shooters from 12 years to 89 years here in MN who compete. Ken Erickson, the only Minnesotan to win the National Championship in the OTC game, which he did back in the 60's, shot a 199-12X last night at 600. He will be 89 next month!
I have attached the match results below.

First F-Class match

Congrats to all the winners. First timer at MidRange, gotta say, the folks at ERSC absolutely, positively run the highest quality match, ever.

The friendliest folks, willing hands, great food and wonderful facility. Thank you to Scott, Matt and the line officers Mark & Bob. Most especially to all the volunteers who likely work a year to bring this off. And yes, I would trust a 15 y.o. ::)

Finally, can I get the pork cutlet recipe ?

X - 10 on this one Dick!!

Hearing about the fun and seeing the results, reeeeeaaalllly bums me that I was unable to show for the match and hook up with the great group of guys at ERSC....... But life happens, eh..

Congrats to all the winners and to those who havent made it to ERSC, put this place on your list of ranges to shoot.

Thanks to all the ERSC members for all the hard work they put in hosting such a great match for everyone. Lisa also deserves a huge tip of the hat for her great shooting this weekend. I hope we can continue to get the same kind of turnout for more of the matches in our area.
Thanks again,
Ben
