Have to see if I can get a load finalized for the new rifle in time. First weekend after school's out so it will be cutting it close

To the top.

Joel, Al, Pat, we'll see you there.

Bob, I hope that you can make it!

ps - We're doing target prep on 3pm, Monday May 25th (memorial day) for anybody that can make it ;) Hopefully we can have some informal shooting afterwards @ 600 yds.

One last teaser for the match. Cheryl Moberg, Queen of the ERSC kitchen, is making her world famous Cowboy Beans for Saturday's BBQ. I will be grilling up several pork loins this afternoon as well. You might not shoot as well as you wished, but you won't go away hungry afterwards. BTW, Cheryl's beans have a special effect in the pits the next day, if Rod's fiber bars weren't bad enough! :'(

Re: MN MR F-Class NRA Regional Results

We had a great regional with 31 shooters competing in individual matches and 24 competing in the team matches.

The weather Saturday was beautiful but with a strong fish-tailing SE wind. Sunday was equally beautiful with a milder and less switchy NW wind. Overall, a great test for some fantastic shooters.

In F-Open, Pat Scully took top honors, dropping only 4 points over 2 days and 100 shots with a score of 996-49X. Eric Johnson took second (fire forming) with a 991-52X. Andy Anderson, in a very close battle for third, managed to edge out several others with a 990-50X.

On the F-T/R side, newcomer Andrew Jewison took first place with a 981-27X over perennial contender Mike Lehmeier who shot a respectable 972-35X. Andrew's classification will soon be changing from Expert! Rounding out the medal winners is another newcomer, Robb Gass, who took third place with a 968-29X.

For the team competition, team "X-Men" (Rick Sievers, Chris Longley, John Rykhus, Mike Jones) took top honors with a 1565-61X, and team "Sharp Shooters" (Ed Higgins, Chunk Laitinen, Drew Rutherford, Mike Lehmeier) took home F-T/R honors with a 1540-40X.

Nice shooting gentlemen!

Great shooting for Squarehead Scully! Crossing the river to shoot with us in Wi, must be helping him out! If Sebold would have gone to shoot this match, then I would have gone along. It would have been fun.
