Mixing SC or Butch's with Kroil

I generally use Butch's Bore Shine and have no real issues with it and keep Kroil on hand for various shooting lub issues. I have read that some mix either Shooter's Choice or Butch's 50/50 with Kroil, what's the benefit? Any issues with the mix?

Thanks,

Tony

Keep in mind these witches brews turn into compounds and some chemicals can react violently when added to another. I am just sayin-------. I use straight montana copper killer and hoppes for carbon and it seems to work.

t/c black powder solvent and hoppe's no 9 2/1 mix makes a greenish runny gel that gets carbon deposits out is a hurry. after the black is gone from the grooves, you see very small linear marks, two close together in 4 groups. this represents the 4 lands in my kreigers. a few more patches and these lines are gone and my hawkeye tell me all the carbon is gone...without brushes! hoppe's makes a black powder solvent but i couldn't find it and the thompson product works great and it smells nice.

I don't know but wouldn't mixing the two result in diluting the copper removing capabilities of Shooter's Choice or Butch's??
