Mixing powder different lot?

Today with the challenge on buying powder I'm finding that I have several 1 lb. powder different lots. Is it best to shoot each one at a time and then adjust load for each lot or is it best to mix say 3 1lb cans of powder together and have 3 lb of the mixed lot? Can't seem to ever find 8 lb cans any more.

As long as it is all the same powder mix it really good and shoot it.
It becomes your own lot.

I find using a fresh dryer sheet to wype down my plastic mixing bowl and spoon very beneficial in getting rid of the static, last thing you need is a spark from static.

I purchased a 5 gallon paint bucket at Lowes with the lid that has a rubber O-ring for mixing powder exactly as you described. I would also recommend obtaining a large plastic funnel if you intend to transfer the mix into an empty 8 lb jug. Mixed lots of the same powder work just fine, I've been doing it for years.

And,.. STIR "Well" and slowly with, a Vented / Slotted,.. Wooden Spoon !
Re-Label and Tape SECURELY to, clean Plastic, Powder, Containers.
Make sure that, the SEAL area, is still,.. "good" !

I do it all the time, most I've done is six eight pounders.

Two big plastic totes from Wally World and have at it......

That's what I thought, will mix, I have 3 lb's one powder together. Thanks for the info.

I did that with 5 pounds of different lots of Varget. Figured by the time I waste primers, bullets, powder, and lots of time to test each, why not Blend...

I put the 5 pounds into an empty 8 pound jug and rotated it until it was all mixed up.
I prefer my powder shaken, not stirred. 007
