Mixing powder lots

Im going to ask what may be a stupid question. I've got several 1lb bottles of powder, same type and manufacture, different lot #'s. As I am looking to work up a new load, and powder is a real problem to find, and i would like to use up what I have, is it dangerous to mix different lots of powder to make one homogeneous mixture?

It is not dangerous and most loaders do it. Mix it up and work up the load.

all powder sold as item "x" must not vary more than 'Y" percent on the consumer market...so loading manuals work and people do not hurt themselves.
so get a big container, pour a little of each in, shake stirr what ever, do it till all is mixed.
now you have your own personal LOT of powder "x"
when it is gone you will have to work up a new load...but it is not unsafe and is very practical.

do not listen to the nay sayers...
