Pete I have the boys ammo loaded and working on mine now. I redid my jam test and made adjustments for the throat wear from raton. I am out for your hide on this one. Lol. Since I have a growing boy to feed and like to eat food myself occasionally, I am going to bring a crock pot of some kind of soup so we have some food on the line. I will set it up where we can grab a cup of soup and eat on the run while we shoot. I will make sure there is plenty for everyone. If anyone else would like to bring chips or whatever to help round up a meal, I think we can keep hunger under control. We are several miles from any town or food source so we better plan ahead.

Bobbie and I are happy to bring something. Our son will be coming to watch also.

I have a couple good recipes I'm working on...
#1 is cajun ham and 15 bean soup.
#2 is a deer chili recipe that is exceptionally good.
Both are something I can prepare ahead and won't need anymore than a stir occasionally while we shoot. Both will be fresh cooked at the match. Bring side dishes or whatever sounds good to go along with it.

Mike and his Wife are both great cooks, so this should be an awesome meal. I just stopped by the post office and picked up several more entries. If you are planning to shoot the match, please send your entry now, or let me know if you are coming. We will accept registration on the morning of the match, but this helps us plan for food, targets, etc.

I will have some photos of the trophies later in the week.

I didn't tell my wife what you said Ryan, Lol. I just talked to the man (my neighbor) that is the deer chili guru and he said he would put it together for me. It's not like regular chili that we are familiar with. Bobbie and Brett are getting the eating components together for us. I have a dollar bet on her to beat her husband, so the pressure is on him to stop that. Joe Meyer and I scored her target last match and she can shoot!! This match will be a excellent opportunity to get classification or move up a notch. We have David Lingle running the line so this will be ran by the best range officer in the business. Ryan is working hard to provide us with a challenging and rewarding match. See you on the line!

Been at the range all day and never fired a shot. We ran another group of new shooters through the long range class and all of them soared like eagles. A few are coming to watch this Fclass thing Brett and I kept talking about. Got my boy Sam ready for action today also. I believe good weather is all we need for a heck of test of skills. We are ready Pete.! Bring your wallet, ha

How about a little eye candy for everyone? :D

Nice Trophies Ryan! Weather looks like it should hold out for the weekend. If you can make it to the match it will be worth your time! See you all there on the line!

We'll see you there Pete. Scott, Jeff and I will be showing up Friday night (Green Buffet!) and should be there for both days. I think Meredith will be making this as well.

Yes, we'll be "slinging" it.

We got you guys a plaque to shoot for. Glad you're coming!

I was just contacted about who can win the trophies. Whoever wins this match will get the trophies ,resident or not. MSSA will award the residents at their annual meeting. We also have 2nd and 3rd place plaques for ftr and open. Ryan has prizes from sponsors to give out as well. Gonna be a good match!!! I'm bringing the food so brace yourself, Ha.

Looks like the rain is supposed to hold off until later in the day on Saturday. Mike be aware...I am ready to shoot! See you all there

Pete, I smashed one finger twice today and cut the index finger pad, then burned another finger real good. All on the wrong hand, my shooting hand is just fine. Sorry buddy, you are going down.

I just had the ingredients for the deer chili delivered to my shop, WOW there's alot of stuff that goes into this recipe. This is sunset chili from the Marlboro country cookbook with a few added ingredients to make it special stuff. Somebody bring crackers and grated cheese.

The targets are refaced and hung, Mike has deer chili in 3 crock pots and it looks like weather is going to cooperate. I hope to see many of you there in the morning.

Mike, sounds like you forgot fritos, sour cream & jalapenos..

Have a great day guys..

Pete took the lead in the first relay and won't give it up. Wild switching tail wind today and I believe head wind tomorrow. My boy Sam is a close 3rd and if the scope hadn't cut him in the 4th relay we might be tied. He has more X's than me so I would be in 3rd. Very proud of him.
On the F-TR front, Jeremy Newell and Ryan Cokerham are tied with Paul Siracusa close behind. Tomorrow will decide.
The sling crew are shooting fclass targets and having a great time. Lol.
