Come on out and shoot the match. We are very accomodating. 5 minutes of instruction and you would be fine. Seriously. I have a .223 AR-15 with a Leupold 6.5-20x on it waiting to be used. It is a great starter rifle and you are welcome ot use it. We always have an extra mat and spotting scope laying around too. Let me know and I will whip up some ammo for you!

I Emailed him my info for registration at 1:00...how could I say now to someone offering to let me shoot? and finding equipment for me??? I'm not that intorverted

Guys and gals,
Registration is now at 45 shooters three weeks out. I am confident we will come close to having 80 shooters at this match. I would hate to have to turn shooters away because they didn't pre-register. Drop me a note at pullbanger@aol.com and I will add you to the roster.

Ok Guys, I have talked my wife, Lisa, aka Luscious, into returning to the world of F-Class shooting. She will be using her ".22 Lisa" rifle, a caliber she came up with in a dream. Don't ask... The rifle stock is pink and white swirls and she has a hot pink shooting mat. She wants all you macho guys to know she is going beat you with her pink gear. Accept the challenge and we will have some fun at the end of the month!

Scott, Brad should be there on Sunday, if for any reason: Guilt. He is a founding charter member of Team Lefse and he bailed on us because of goose hunting stuff.. Joel, Erik & I had to search hi and low for another norsk warior worthy enough to fill Brads boots..

Team Lefse has raised the bar as far as team names go. We met at the Legion last Monday after shooting, negotiated and traded players amongst the teams just like NHL. The trading deadline will be at last call after the final night of the Approved match, July 23rd.

I suggested the team name Lefse Eaters but was overruled. My team mates really like you. What's up with that? Seriously, the range is in great shape, grass is green, and fresh targets will be ready for the match. This will be a hoot. Over 45 F-class guys already registered for Sunday!

This thread started off as an innocent post informing shooters about the MN MR Championship. It has now been brought down to its lowest possible form: Horror stories about Rod and fiber bars. I hope the "Boss" doesn't lock this thread up! If he smelled and survived the pits, he would.

We shot last night and put up some incredible scores. Jon Clauson (Nosualc) with his 6mmBRX laid down a 200-19X at 600 yards for the first match with the new rifle for a club range record. If only the match was registered instead of approved! Shot #15 was a 10 and when Jon got done crappie flopping on his mat about dropping a 10 instead of a X, I told him if he ran the remaining shots as X's, I would buy him a big bottle of Crown. The incentive paid off, he ran the rest as X's. Amazing shooting. I had just finished shooting a 199-13X F-TR style and was drawn over by the crowd gathered near Jon. Mike Micelli shot a 198-11X and my wife Lisa (LusciousXspot) shot a 198-8X. Mike said that we are ready for the Nordic barbarians from the NW to try and invade.
