Minnesota F-class Mid-Range State Championship. Aug 8-9

Actually your right Eric they did do a great job in red wing. Thanks for all the work Pat and Bob. And the other people that ran the pits and helped on the line where 1st class. Sorry I don't remember your names I had other stuff on my mind"Pat" but you all were awesome!

I had a good time meeting everyone. Even though my experiment didn't work out very well. I loved the idea of a rifle to throw down range, when things don't go well. Just like my bent up golf clubs! I'm not giving up on 4451 yet, but maybe the Amax bullets! I hope to see some of you come join us in LaX at the end of the month.

I do recall you guys talking about a "beat down rifle" Maybe someone will donate one, we can chain it to a tree and whenever ones has the urge... walk over to it and try to wrap it around the ole maple tree!!

Eric
Keith, Adam and I were having that conversation on the 3rd match. We were trying to decide if it would be better to see how far you could throw it or if it would be better to wrap it around a tree. 1.25 inch barrels don't bend very well, so we thought it would be better to see how far we could throw it.

My first time at the North Star range. The match ran smooth as silk, thanks to Bob, Pat, and Kevin.
You could tell allot of work went into the match before we got there. One of the nicest groomed range I've been to. Thanks for all the hospitality and I'm sure there will be allot more Wisconsin shooters once the news gets out about North Star. Thanks Jim
