This will probably be my only match for the year, so now, it's time to convince my inlaws to change the weekend they want to come visit.

Well, it looks like Sunday is good to go. Just need to get my MRRA membership again, since it lapsed a year ago. Looking forward to this

Not a camper so… where to stay ?

With 750,000 to 1,000,000 folks expected at the Sturgis Rally and… history showing NO motel rooms are available within 1,000 miles of the event…

where's a quiet place to stay in Red Wing, for the MN State Match ?

If you need to renew your MRRA membership, best thing to do is print the form from the website and bring it with payment to the match. The match director is supposed to get a current list of active members from the secretary before the match to cross reference shooters. I have heard a rumor that the MRRA membership secretary may be going to Camp Perry, and won't be able to process any new applications while he is gone.

Good luck at the match!

Got the MRRA form printed out and ready to go. Was told to bring it with. Looking forward to it, since I rarely get down to matches

Won't be making it again this year.....had a workbench mishap with my rifle that will, if everything turns out OK, be a funny story....Action is on the way to BAT to see if they can fix it.

Good luck to all the shooters this coming weekend

Extra Packer Gear for sure... Just in case we run out of targets!
Glad to hear your coming to visit Keith. Look forward to shooting with you guys again.

See ya soon
Scott

Scott, I hoped that people would enjoy some friendly teasing. I'm not sure if you remembered that I'm not even a Packer Backer. Bob and I are heading over Friday.

congratulations to Chris Longley for winning the individual match today in the f-open class. a well earned win with a score of 799-57x. yesterday the winning team from elk river set a national record for team agg. I didn't look at the ft-r scores. maybe someone took a picture and will post the scores.

Does anyone remember when you could drop more than one point in a 4 match tournament and win? Great shooting by Pat and Chris. Way to shoot under pressure Chris...this wasn't handed to you; you earned it. Had a great time with the guys from Wisconsin this weekend...hope we get to do it again soon. Congrats to Rick, John, Mike and Chris on the new team agg score on Saturday.

Thanks Joel for the compliment. It was a great shoot. Thanks Pat also for the compliment but you had me on edge right until the end because it wasn't out of the realm for you to beat me again right at the end!

Great shooting Chris! It was fun scoring and pulling for ya, that's for sure! Always a hoot to shoot with all you guys. I had fun shooting in Red Wing as always.
It was great to see the Wisconsin guys on this side of the river again. Great job on the team win also!

fpskills you almost gave me a heart attack on Sunday! Thanks though it was a blast!" you know what I'm talking about"

First time at Red Wing. A very nice, picturesque range. Always great fun with the MN and WI shooters - worth the long haul from ND. Really impressive shooting all around. Here are some pictures of the score boards. Hopefully better versions appear, but this is what I've got. I apologize to the open shooter's name who is cut off. Drew

First time down to Red Wing and the guys put on a class show...including the scores. The Hot Dogs; Chris and Scully tore it up dropping only 1 point!! Fun to watch all the guys put up some incredible scores in subtle -switchy conditions at times. Congrats to all the winners. Chris..nice job and the paint job on your stock is a piece of ART!! Your 799-57x win was well deserved and as expected Scully was hot on your tail just a couple of x's back. Kudos to both of ya!! Til next time, Eric in DL
