Mini M16 extractor

Looking for some input.
Does anybody have experience using a mini M16 extractor without a ejector (bolt action)
I'm wanting to know if it's a pain to get the spent case off the extractor. I have ran slide plate type extractors this way and it works great but have no experience with a mini M16 a M16 or a Sako type.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Bats seem to work fine with the sako type but most ive noticed with no ejector use the sliding plate

Barnard Ps works no problem with a sako style.
