Millett vs Burris Rings?

Hi Guys
Is there a considerable quality difference between the Millett Tactical 30mm rings and the Burris Xtreme Tactical Picatinny 30mm?
I see the Millet is about half the price, but they look very much the same??
How are the Weaver Tactical rings like? I like the 6 screw concept, and would like to go that route.
Thanks

I use the Burris XTR 30mm and Weaver 1'' Tactical rings, both with 6 screw caps. I have no experience with Millett tactical rings but I generally put Millett at the same quality level as Weaver stuff. Here are some comments anyway in case they may help.
The Burris crossbolt for clamping to the rail is larger & only fits Picatinny grooves. The Weaver has a smaller crossbolt to fit Weaver rail notches. Weaver seems to have a Picatinny model also but I have not seen one up close.
The Burris rings are heavier and stronger. The Weaver rings are serviceable but you can't torque the clamping screw as tight as the Burris. When you remove the Weavers from the rail, the crossbolt falls out of the rings, making it a little more finicky to put back on the rail. The Burris is easiest to mount because all the parts stay assembled the screw is peened to prevent the nut from coming off the crossbolt. Also, the screw head is splined and stays in the ring at all times. Burris XTR are very easy to install and remove from rifle compared to Weavers.
