Before this mess started, I always had good experiences with Midway over the last 25 years or so although their prices were not the best. Their claim to fame was having everything I needed in stock, and they shipped quickly. It was especially nice when they offered free shipping on certain size orders. I was willing to pay a little extra because they had everything I needed - kind of one stop shopping.
Today, every business is feeling the crunch of the supply chain mess so I can't faulty Midway. For sure they want to sell what we need so this shortage mess is not something they want either.
On a personal note, I'm considering get out of the shooting sports after I exhaust my current inventory unless conditions significantly improve which I doubt - I think it's only going to get worse with the incompetency I see in the Federal government. As I approach 75, I've had a good run at competitive shooting, hunting and recreational shooting for well over 50 years. It may be time to move on to something else especially with losing many of the fine farms that I've hunted for many years in my area, my declining physical condition, and the exorbitant costs of continuing in this sport which is difficult for retired people on a fixed income.
