Midway USA returns

Midway….overpriced, understocked, overhyped, overgouging, and overpaid CEO. Smilin‘ Larry…wake up, I am now converted to my LGS that sources from Graf’s.

That pretty well sums it up. I don't buy there anymore either.

This is why I usually shop at Graf and Sons, they have some of the best prices on the web and they have a good selection of components.

I buy all my bullets now a days at Blue Collar Reloading. Besides the great prices, they are easy to work with. Problem is, like most suppliers, supplies are either very limited or non-existent.

I've been a very longtime customer of Midway, always liked them mainly because they had everything I wanted, kind of one stop shopping. But I've notice them slipping in the past few years. Not saying I won't use them in the future but I'm looking around for another supplier of shooting supplies.

Like everything else, nothing last forever.

I have bought a lot from Blue Collar. They are good people and ship FAST.

I’ve had good results with Creedmoor Sports and MidSouth Shooters Supply. For tools: 21st Century Shooting, PMA and Harrell’s.

I did something wrong that caused an overcharge on two orders from 21st Century Shooting (ordered the same day). When my order arrived and I opened the box, I found that Pete had put several $$$ out of his pocket in with the order. It was for more than what the overcharge was. I wouldn’t have ever known that I was overcharged and probably wouldn’t have cared, as it was my own doing. I know that seldom happens nowadays. By and large, it seems like this part of the shooting sports are bubbling over with really honest, nice folks.

Glad you mentioned 21 Century, that's one I can add to my list.
I love Midsouth too because you can actually get someone on the phone quickly when calling and they always quote the shipping much less than shown on their website.

If a product is listed on Amazon, even if it is a little more expensive, I buy it there. Unconditional return policy and you can walk into any Kohls store and get an immediate refund to the account you charged it to, which in my case is my bank debit card.

I took an X-Y vise back last night to the UPS store with the bar code, she scanned it and by the time I got home I had credit on my cc. Hard to beat!

I have had good luck with Midway over the years. At times they seem to be the only place that has what I want. I do a little price shopping and often Midway turns out to be cheaper all in with shipping than some other big online sellers. The only issue I had was with a cleaning rod being damaged. Midway sent a replacement, it was damaged as well in shipping. I cancelled the order and retuned the damaged rod. They sent me a third one without me requesting it. The third one was in great shape and it was free.

Never liked Midway at all away. Where are those gray planes with the big red meatballs on the side of them when you need them? They picked the wrong Midway on June 4-7 of 42. Should of saved it for June of 2022. BANZAI.

Midway USA has sadly changed their return policy. It has been such a great experience doing business with them knowing that they would always take anything back free of charge but now there is a charge for returns. I believe Potterfield has stepped back and new CEO is in command of the new warehouse and their new business model. I hope this policy changes but it's difficult times we experience nowadays!

I will throw in K&M and Benchrite also.

I must admit I do shop around for the best prices,but these are my usual go too's....

I've had good luck with,In no particular order, Powder Valley, Blue Collar, Precision Reloading, Grafs, Sinclair/Brownells's, (although I find navigating there site harder then others)....
Cant really complain about Midway but havn't had to send anything back in a long time.

I do the exact opposite. I will spend more locally or to a small business. Amazon will own the world soon enough, I am not gonna help them. Same goes for Midway to a lesser degree. Midway doesn't care about shooting or us.

The last three purchases I've made at Midway, my credit card was hacked and charged up within three days of the purchase.
