Midway prices just jumped

There is a feature on the the Midway site that keeps your "wish list" of items. My wish list is huge!!!

One of the interesting things about this list is when you log in it alerts you in changes in prices and availability...

I logged on at lunch and a huge list of stuff on my wish list just went up... many of them bullets just jumped up.

I just ordered from them today as waiting for a check to clear, if it was yesterday my bill would have been $17 lower as one of my wish list was on sale BUT didn't have the money till today lust my luck "ALWAYS A DAY LATE AND A DOLLAR SHORT'.

I have spent many$$$ in the past with Midway each year, but with their New Webpage(a piece of crap) and their prices going up they have lost my $$. I have found othr vendors providing products at a much better price and as such. Goodbye midway..

Their prices were already too high as far as I'm concerned. I've been buying nearly all my stuff from other vendors.

Some of the things didn't go up exactly they just went "off sale". Beger hunting bullets being one item in particular that I noticed on my list. Unfortunately I live in MO so I get double dipped with sales tax. Good thing is, as long as I order before about 6pm I get it on the UPS truck the next day. USPS can take longer than a week though.

Agree on majority of items. Even when considering my 'dealer' discount, which is piddling. I said bye bye a loooong time ago and have never lacked for product.

I remember buying items from Midway, Cabellas and Gander Mountain in the 'early 80's. The prices were great and service was what one would expect. Now that those companies have gotton so large there prices are ridiculous, lets support the smaller vendors and maybe these BIG BOX guys will lose business, get smaller and return to what got them where they are now.

Agreed, I used to order from Midway as a matter of couse.
No Longer.
I Just went to Midsouth for 3lbs. of powder and a box of primers
saved over $7. Midway even charges $2.50 more for a Hazmat fee
and warns that it may take an extra 2 weeks to get powder. I
received my Midsouth order in 2 Days! What's that all about? Do they
run an FBI check on you or something? Plus Midsouth had everything
I wanted, Midway did not.

I'm not saying 'go to Midsouth' . Just an example of maybe Midway
has gotten to big to attend to competition.

It's really accelerating too... That was kind of the point of the post to begin with. That and the stupid election coming up, and everybody hoarding.

I just stopped for gas today after work and I about @#%, $4.10 for premium! .... seems like it was mid 3bucks just a few weeks ago...?????

Whenever I'm looking for stuff these days I look at Amazon and compare prices. It's amazing how much they have in shooting stuff. I just ordered a Caldwell Rock br, cheapest price I found anywhere. I always thought they were just for books till my wife suggested looking there (she's still good for something once in a while).... I also bought a Caldwell portable shooting table from there a month ago- again, cheaper than anyone. Like you guys, I used to buy pretty much everything from Midway and Brownells- I did have a couple Midway packages show up this week but they aren't on the list of stuff showing up next week

I gave up on Midway when they wouldn't mail me a freakin' catalog overseas (APO address), because 'the ATF' doesn't want them to. Bulls**t. Add their high prices and totally outrageous shipping charges to the list of reasons to stay away.

If Graf's has what I need, they typically get my order. I like their 'flat rate' UPS shipping charge, and they ship quickly.
