Mid range coyote caliber?

I wonder what gun that is at 3:35... I assume it's a beast. ...and people tell me my 270win shooting 110vmax or 90gr varminters at 22-250 speeds is overkill...
That's what I shoot out of my 270 along with Sierra 90gr HPs, top it off with 64gr of RL17 and you have got yourself a 4000+ fps load.

I started many years ago with a 25/06 .that's all I need .

Thats what I ended up doing. Going to try 70 noslers and 75 vmax first. Also picked up some sierras
I don't think you'll go wrong with any of them. I am a Sierra fan and shoot their 70 grain Blitzkings.

OP, I hunted all over Az for coyotes. You will get 100 of the 100 yd shots for every 1 of the 600 yard shots with perhaps 3 of the 450 yard shots.
On the 600 yard shots, you are going to have to use a range finder(etc.) or else you are just spraying lead.
Focus on your calling, hunting, set up skills. You have the guns to get the job done.
For me, coyote hunting means extremes in flat shooting rifles with 350 yards being a long shot. Shoot a Very fast, accurate load, with a bullet meant to expand. I have had great luck with 12 twist 22/250 AI's shooting 55g Sierra btsp at 4100 to 500 yds, and the 6 Rem AI shooting the 70g Noslers at 4150 and 80g Sierra bltiz at 3800.
When you are walking out making stands, 85-125 yards are the average shots, and any 204 with 40g V max will do that you already have.
If you just need an excuse to go buy a rifle, then a 243 in a Rem 700 SPS is going to be hard to beat, along with 80g Sierra blitz bt with IMR 4064.
