Micrometer seating stem

I need to get a micrometer seating stem for my 243 RCBS bullet seating die.
I have a Redding backordered from Sinclair but they have no idea when it will be in.
A friend of mine suggested I get a micrometer stem from Whidden Gunworks.
Has anyone ever bought one of their dies or reloading products ?
If so, what do you think ?

The forum boss and many others seem to really like the whidden dies.I am saving to buy a set of .260 rem dies from him. They are very nice helpful people and stand behind their products.I dont think you can add a micrometer top to any rcbs seater die unless someone is making some kind of retrofit. The only mic top seater are the match sets and the gold medal sets.

The RCBS gold seater with the side window to drop the bullet in will spoil you. It is a great idea. I used one for a 300rum and it worked well.

+1 on Whidden dies, I have them for both calibers I am loading these days and they are a quality setup. I don't think you will be disappointed.

yes it does. I really like it. Adjustments are more precise than my Forster

How is that? My Forster Ultra's have 0.001" markings, and it would be easy to split one marking into fractions - how does the Whidden get more precise than that??

my Forster did not match the adjustments very precisely when making adjustments. With Whidden's when I want 2 thous, I get 2 thous.

Also on my two dies, the mic top is easier to turn than on my Forster
