Micrometer Adjuster for a Wilson Seating die

I use an arbor press with a Wilson seating die for my F-class rifle in .284 Shehane. I find adjusting the seating depth quite tedious without a micrometer adjuster for the top seating stem.

Does anyone know of a company that make a micrometer adjuster for the Wilson seating dies used in arbor presses?

As mentioned, you can buy an add-on micrometer top from Sinclair or buy a Wilson Seater Die with their integrated micrometer.

Another way to make adjustments is with "shims" designed for use with the standard Wilson Seater Die. A set of shims is shown here: http://www.sinclairintl.com/.aspx/pid=33711/Product/Skip_s_Seater_Die_Shims . Click on the picture for an expanded view. This is the method used by Tony Boyer.

Another easy way and it's how I do it, is just to take a measurement with a good set of calipers across the top and bottom of the seater stem, and then add or subtract what I want the change to be.. If you screw the stem in .005 thats exactly what the difference in seating will be......

Here's a popular and functional option.
No pic but they're just shims you put between the stem and die body. Works great and cheap...fwiw. Just add or remove shims. I still do prefer a micrometer top but part of that is simply my preference to seat on the same press set up as I size on. Two presses would work and I've done that as well. Just wasn't worth the space etc just to screw a die in and out...to me. YMMV
